Women’s Business Seminar Offers Free Entrepreneurial Resources

The Loudoun Coalition on Women and Girls (LCWAG) will host its second Entrepreneurial Women’s Business Seminar on May 5, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Ida Lee Park Recreation Center in Leesburg. Registration for attendees is free and includes lunch: www.LCWAG.org/biz

The seminar will serve as a culmination to the celebration of National Small Business Week in the Town of Leesburg and Loudoun County. Successful entrepreneurs and vendors from a variety of industries will share their experiences and provide valuable insight into the world of women-owned businesses. Attendees will be empowered to start, refine, and grow their businesses.

“The Entrepreneurial Women’s Business Seminar is designed to connect women with resources to start or scale their business right here in our community,” said LCWAG Chair Ferri Riar. “Nearly 60% of Loudoun women surveyed by LCWAG in December 2022 expressed an interest in professional development programs, and we are proud to provide this excellent networking opportunity with expert advising from local business leaders.”

The Entrepreneurial Women’s Business Seminar is a key initiative of LCWAG’s Employment & Entrepreneurship program, which provides skills training, strategies, and resources to support women in strengthening economic stability for themselves and their families through career opportunities and entrepreneurship. There is no cost to attend and lunch will be served, thanks to generous support from Leesburg Economic Development, Loudoun Economic Development, Landey Patton State Farm Leesburg, 880 Harrison - The Block Chain Building, the Business Banking Department of JP Morgan Chase, and Loudoun Now. Registration is required.

Space is limited! Register to attend Loudoun’s Entrepreneurial Women’s Business Seminar and view the full event agenda here: www.LCWAG.org/biz
