LCWAG recognizes nominees for Loudoun’s Women Hall of Fame

ASHBURN, VA (March 21, 2023) — In recognition of Women’s History Month, the Loudoun Coalition on Women and Girls (LCWAG) is proud to present the slate of nominees for the Loudoun’s Women Hall of Fame. The Loudoun’s Women Hall of Fame was established to share the stories of the women who are shaping Loudoun’s history in the Arts, Community Service, Education, Leadership, Health, Science, Social Justice, and Business.

Members of the public have nominated 25 extraordinary women who have made enduring and exemplary contributions to their fields, elevated the status of women, and opened new frontiers for women and society. All those nominated either live and/or work in Loudoun County. The 2023 Inductees will be announced at the Award Luncheon on May 18.

“By establishing the Loudoun’s Women Hall of Fame, LCWAG ensures that women’s legacies and achievements will be forever immortalized inspiring generations to come,” said LCWAG Chair Ferri Riar.

All nominees will be recognized and celebrated at the annual Loudoun’s Women Hall of Fame Inductee and Award Luncheon on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Lightfoot Restaurant in Leesburg. Stacey Metcalfe, Executive Director/CEO of Morven Park will serve as the Luncheon’s Emcee. This prestigious event preserves and amplifies the legacy of Loudoun's most extraordinary women and aims to inspire future generations of women and girls to greater achievement.
