LCWAG Establishes Loudoun County’s First-Ever Women’s Hall of Fame

The Loudoun Coalition on Women and Girls (LCWAG) is proud to establish the first-ever Loudoun County Women’s Hall of Fame to share the stories of the women who are shaping Loudoun’s history in the Arts, Community Service, Education, Leadership, Health, Science, Social Justice, and Business. Honorees will be inducted into the Loudoun’s Women Hall of Fame.

LCWAG depends on members of the public to nominate extraordinary, contemporary women who have made enduring and exemplary contributions to their fields, inspired and elevated the status of women, and helped open new frontiers for women and society. Anyone may make a nomination, however women who are nominated must live and/or work in Loudoun County.

The Loudoun Coalition on Women and Girls is currently accepting nominations to the Loudoun’s Women Hall of Fame. The nomination portal will be open for three weeks, beginning February 1, 2023 through February 22, 2023. Nominees will be announced during Women's History Month in March.

Selected honorees will be inducted at the annual Loudoun’s Women Hall of Fame Inductee and Award Luncheon, hosted at Lightfoot Restaurant on Thursday, May 18, 2023. This prestigious event preserves and amplifies the legacy of Loudoun's most extraordinary women and aims to inspire future generations of women and girls to greater achievement.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible women in our community and recognize the indelible impact they have contributed to Loudoun’s legacy,” said LCWAG Chair Farzaneh Riar. “LCWAG and the Women’s Hall of Fame selection committee are honored to elevate the extraordinary stories of courage, leadership, intelligence, compassion, and creativity within our county.”
