LCWAG is hosting its second round table discussion, “Forging Forward: The Changing Landscape of Women in STEAM,” sponsored by the National Sports Medicine Institute (NSMI).
This panel discussion features women in varying stages of their STEM/STEAM careers, including Dr. LaNetra Tate, the National Aeronautics & Space Administration, Dr. Meg Layton, Symantec, Ekta Singhal, Nova Enrichment Academy, Dr. Jean Self-Trail, U.S. Geological Survey, Gina Sarfaty, U.S Agency for International Development, Audrey Francis, Janelia Research Campus, and Mia Hagood, Academies of Loudoun. The event will be at Rust Library and is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
