— How it Works

Live healthy, safe & empowered lives

The Loudoun Coalition on Women and Girls is committed to helping women and girls across Loudoun County live healthy, safe, and empowered lives.

Our work focuses on the whole person. That means supporting mental and emotional wellness, personal safety, physical health, leadership, education, career readiness, financial confidence, and freedom from violence. Through programs such as Women EmPower, the Girl emPower Summit, Human Trafficking Initiative programs, Give Choose Day, and community awareness efforts, we connect women and girls with resources, encouragement, and opportunities to grow.

We know that health and wellness look different for every person. For some, it means finding mental health support. For others, it means feeling safe, building confidence, exploring a career path, starting a business, healing from trauma, or finding a community that listens and understands. LCWAG works to create spaces where women and girls feel seen, supported, and prepared for what comes next.

Partnership is central to this work. By collaborating with local organizations, advocates, service providers, educators, and community leaders, we are able to reach more residents and respond to real needs in Loudoun. Together, we promote wellness, strengthen safety, encourage leadership, and help build a county where women and girls can thrive.

As Loudoun continues to grow, LCWAG remains focused on advancing programs and partnerships that improve quality of life, expand access to support, and create lasting opportunities for women and girls of all ages and backgrounds.
